10 Favorite Books

Reading is so important, and you should never quit learning new information. I’m a sucker for motivational/self-help books. I always want to continually grow as a person and I know there are always new habits I can takeaway from these types of books. I also love books about food, and how it affects our body. Basically anything I can learn something from, I love. It’s not often I get time to read, so I don’t waste it on meaningless material (I usually just read 10 pages of something a day). With that being said, here is a list of my all-time favorite books that have helped me grow over the years.

  1. The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy

If you only read one book on this list, let it be this one, it is life changing. The audio version is awesome too!

  1. Living Beyond Your Feelings by Joyce Meyer
  1. The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone
  1. Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins
  1. How to Win Friends & Influence Peopleby Dale Carnegie
  1. Power Thoughts by Joyce Meyer
  1. It Starts with Food by Dallas and Melissa Hartwig
  1. The Daniel Plan by Rick Warren
  1. The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman
  1. Supernatural Childbirth by Jackie Mize

If you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or will be pregnant sometime in your life, you have to read this. It is a game changer. That book changed my mindset and allowed me to have an almost pain-free natural childbirth.

Ah YAY! It’s an awesome book, really puts everything in perspective for you and helps you understand WHY food really effects you. Good luck on the Whole30 if you do it!! It wasn’t easy, but I felt amazing and energized!

I need to get It Starts With Food. I have heard great things about that one. I would love the Rick Warren one too. My favorite book of all time is To Kill A Mockingbird. So many great lessons even prevalent today!

Love the compound effect! Currently listening to the 10x Rule and it’s definitely kicking my bootie into high gear! The Joyce Meyer ones I haven’t heard of but would be interested to check out!

Grant cardone is the man! He is super intense and motivating! After I wrote this, someone suggested “the Miracle Morning” by Hal Elrod, if you haven’t read it, you should put it next on your list!
